ALPHA BRAVO CHARLIE

Toronto, Ontario, 2022 - 2023

‘Alpha Bravo Charlie’ helps activate Toronto’s waterfront through a series of sculpted decks. The temporary installation takes the nautical alphabet as a point of inspiration, interpreting and transforming the international maritime signal flags into three-dimensional, occupiable forms. The decks are animated through leisure activities, playful games and educational opportunities. Together they form a social infrastructure to create connections between people by providing opportunities to linger and play. ‘Alpha Bravo Charlie’ was commissioned in 2022 for the Promenade at Sugar Beach and re-installed at HTO Park in 2023.
